A shaila, or halachic question, has many nuances to it. Therefore the tshivas that come from them also are contextual. You should never apply the answer you received to one question at one time, to another situation a different time. Every shaila needs to be asked on its own. Wherever possible it is preferable to send questions to your own Rav who knows you personally. This site is not intended to be used as a substitute for a Rav. About lgbtshailos

We are a team of frum, erliche, queer jews who wish to live humbly by halacha. We understand it is political suicide within the community for rabbonim to side publically with queer yidden, and so halacha lmaase pertaining to the lives of LGBT jews is nearly impossible to find for the average jew who wishes to be shomer torah mitzvos. We hope to make it easy for Rabbonim, Poskim, and Queer Jews to access shitas and tshuvos on how they can live their lives. All shitas and tshuvos go through a rigorous screening process to ensure they only come from hareidi yiras shomayim talmidei chachamim, poskim, and the like. As of 2024, the site is exclusively run by chassidim.
